As it is in the rest of the Cadiz atlantic coast, Rota counts with extensive fine golden sand beaches where you can enjoy unforgettable walks on the beach and take a refreshing dip in the water.

Rota has some fantastic beaches. They are considered by many to be the finest in Spain. They have fine white sands and crystal clear waters. The ocean here is incredibly clean and fresh.

The Costilla is located just at the bottom of the town, close to the historic quarter. This close proximity means you can go swimming or sunbathing as well as sightseeing in the same day. There are numerous monuments to be seen in this area and some great places to eat too.

The beach is massive. It forms an arc that extends all the way to the Piedras Gordas, or big stones. The promenade is very well equipped; you´ll find plenty of places to relax, have a beer, or enjoy a good meal.
