Holidays and Festivities.

1 of January- New Years!

6 of January -Saint´s day of the Three Kings of Orient (Epiphany)

February- Carnival!

March or April-Easter week.

May- may is a month with many festivities, starting with the first of May which is the international labor day. In the second week of may also comes the Feria de Primavera (the spring fair)de Rota.

24 de Junio- Night of San Juan, burning of paper mache "juanillos" at the beach

July 16th- Virgen del Carmen. Patron saint of the fisherman.

First week of August- Fiesta de la Urta (summer fair)

October- Fiesta del Rosario, and the 12 of August Hispanic day (columbus day), as well as la Virgen del Pilar.

November 1st- All saint´s Day.

December- the 6th is Spain´s Constitution Day. The 8th of December is the day of Inmaculada Concepción, and the 25th is Christmas.
