Cadiz is an ideal place to play golf, and for this reason the golf lovers choose this location. This province offers a wide range of possibilities to practice this sport.

In order to play golf on the Costa Ballena, one must own a federation license and have a minimum handicap of 36. You don't need it to play on the par 3 course. To get a License, you must play 3 rounds of 18 holes. If you play them well enough, Costa Ballena will pass your details onto the Andalucian Golf Federation.

27 HOLE COURSE
The 18 championship holes are quite flat and are therefore suitable to all types of golfer, whether experienced or not. At some of the holes you'll find spectacular views out over the Atlantic. There are a few pretty lakes on the course too.

9 HOLE COURSE PAR 3
This is a real 9 par three course. It's perfect for practising short shots. The nine holes have different distances between them, ranging from 100 to 180 metres. You'll get to use every club in your bag. The design is basically the same as the 27 hole course with lakes and bunkers scattered throughout the course.

TRAINING COURSE
The driving range is one of the biggest in Europe—300 metres—with a shot distance of 350 metres. Powerful floodlights placed throughout the course allow night-time playing.

PUTTING GREEN
The putting area is quite large. There are all sorts of breaks on it, making almost any shot possible. On the chipping green, shots can be hit up to 60 metres. It's possible to shoot from grass, sand, or rough.
